The Competitor is the best kite that Leading Edge Kites has ever produced.
The Competitor has been designed to perform all of the latest tricks
originating from the snap stall position. Snap stalls are easy, clean and
stable. Ground work like edge launches, ground turtles and ground rolls are
done with ease. The Competitor is a moderately quick kite which loves to spin
and yet tracks precisely.
Design features include a unique center "T" which creates an offset between
the spine and the bottom spreaders which helps to align the spine in the same
plane with the leading edges. The Competitor uses an innovative cross turbo
bridle system with three factory presets which allows the flyer to quickly
select flight behaviors ranging from precise to somewhat radical to over the
edge radical. The Competitor also employs a self tensioning leech line which
allows for the sail to "breathe", but supplys sufficient tension to keep the
kite quite.
