Olympic Dove of Peace & Love
This is the exact kite designed for the 1996 Olympic opening ceremonies. The Dove of Peace and Love flies like a real bird and it made a spectacular appearance as 100 of these "doves" flew during the start of the Olympic games.
Designed by Jackite, these kites emulate the flight of a bird and was initially developed as an educational tool to promote the appreciation of birds.
The kite features a 3 dimensional head and body, 42 inches wingspan,
waterproof and tear resistant DuPont Tyvek sail with gold and silver graphics.
It can be flown as a kite with 6-20# line. Attached to a pole (as featured in the Olympics), it makes a beautiful flying windsock.
We feature the deluxe assembled version with it's own shipping and storage tube. The kite is a snap to setup and fly.
